For my response paper, I had the idea to look at the "David and Goliath" behavior of the different characters in "China Syndrome". It would also be interesting to search for a real example from today.
See if you specify one particular "David" character, and illustrate why that specific type becomes the "David."
I can think of at least two different version, there, and each could easily keep you busy for two pages. Shoot for a high degree of specificity, in other words, when choosing a viable phenomenon for further investigation.

Strong beginning, though.
